Every once in a while my brain formualtes an insight
Whenever this happens I write a new “Reminder to myself”
I’ve been writing these for the past couple of years on X and LinkedIn
Here are a list of all of them
Every once in a while my brain formualtes an insight
Whenever this happens I write a new “Reminder to myself”
I’ve been writing these for the past couple of years on X and LinkedIn
Here are a list of all of them
Reminder to myself: If you decide to keep things inside of you, then you will pay for it in one way or another.
Reminder to myself: The most dangerous person is the one who can learn from their mistakes and grow a little bit everyday. And do this without talking about it and let the results show for itself. The compounding effects of this over decades is 🤯 Aspire to be this person.
Reminder to myself: Arguments are usually won by those that can speak in a more eloquent way. Don’t be fooled by this. In fact, don’t even try to win arguments. It’s not worth it. You literally don’t get anything for it, except for wasted time. Very few people go into arguments wanting to learn something. Most people want to just show that their worldview is right, while yours is wrong.
Reminder to myself: You have one life.
Reminder to myself: Human beings mirror each other unconsciously. But remember, if you’re sad and you’re talking to a happy person you don’t need to fake being happy. Also, if you’re happy and you’re talking to a sad person you don’t need to fake being sad.
Reminder to myself: After completing a project, make sure to document it in some way. However small. This way, in 10 years when your brain goes “What do I have to show for that project I worked on?” you’ll have that thing to look back at.
Reminder to myself: Everything you’re good at now, you were once shitty at. Don’t forget this fact as you continue to age.
Reminder to myself: Always strive to do things in a way that make sense to you. Even if it takes longer.
Reminder to myself: If you improve just 0.1 % every day for 10 years you’ll be: 38 times better than when you started. Now, if you improved 0.2 % every day for those 10 years in the end you’ll be: 1 469 better than when you started.
Reminder to myself: New rule. You’re not allowed to judge your ability to do something before you’ve done that thing for at least a year. Try it out for a year, then decide if you want to label yourself as “good” or “bad” at it.
