Every once in a while my brain formualtes an insight
Whenever this happens I write a new “Reminder to myself”
I’ve been writing these for the past couple of years on X and LinkedIn
Here are a list of all of them
Every once in a while my brain formualtes an insight
Whenever this happens I write a new “Reminder to myself”
I’ve been writing these for the past couple of years on X and LinkedIn
Here are a list of all of them
Reminder to myself: Attention can’t be demanded, it must be earned.
Reminder to myself: You and your life partner are on the same team. Remember this whenever you find yourself in an argument.
Reminder to myself: In your pursuit of success make sure to not imprison yourself. If you get what you always wanted but you are miserable as a result, then you lost. True success is freedom to choose how and with whom you get to spend your limited time on this earth.
Reminder to myself: If few people have a credential, then it can be seen as something unique and valuable. If everyone has the credential, then it is as if no one has it.
Reminder to myself: Any type of change in this world starts with one person. It has been like this since the beginning of human history. Always remember this whenever you’re afraid to do something purely because of your fear of “what will other people think?”.
Reminder to myself: The best way to “change the world” is to do it harmoniously with the existing world. If you are impatient and stubborn you will lose. The world is the way it is because of very good reasons. If you want to make a meaningful impact then you first need to take in the world the way that it is and let it influence and change you → Personal growth....
Reminder to myself: Before taking someone’s advice, look at their life. Are they the type of person you want to be more like? That’ll give you a lot more useful information than any specific advice they give you.
Reminder to myself: Here’s how you change other peoples behaviors: You don’t. Focus on yourself.
Reminder to myself: Strive to not make the same mistake twice. If you do you become truly dangerous.
Reminder to myself: You vs you. Always. Comparing yourself to anyone other than yourself is a great way to feel miserable. Learn from others, but don’t compare.
